The third phase of Wano, or the arch of Onigashima, has been developing for some time. It has been more than a year since the journey to land on Kaido Island began, with the protagonists of ONE PIECE starting the most important battle of their lives to date. Which are still over?
The ONE PIECE manga is currently in Chapter 1029, with the 1030 officially coming out in a few days. However, Weekly Shonen Jump decided to keep readers clear by posting a promotional image showing what clashes are yet to come. Apart from the battle between Killer and Hawkins, which has just ended and therefore could not fit into the picture, the following battles are currently to be ended in Onigashima:
- Luffy VS Kaido;
- Zorro versus King;
- Sanji VS Queen;
- Child and Law VS Big Mom;
- Raizo versus Fukurojuku.
With the exception of the last, these are all battles of great depth. At this point in the saga, Oda finds it difficult to insert more battles that he could reserve for the final act of Wano.
