Almost unanimously voted the most successful anime of the last few months, Tokyo Revengers arrives at the moment of saying goodbye. Season 1 actually ended with the airing of episode 24, which is available on simulcast for Crunchyroll Premium users.
The animated adaptation of theKen Wakui’s work says goodbye currently with the fans. The first part of Hanagaki Takemichi and Toman’s adventure actually ended with a sensational cliffhanger that, although not officially, the S. announcesseason 2.
The first 24 episodes of the anime cover the events right through to the story arc of Bloody Halloween, the brawl between the Tokyo Manji Gang and Valhalla that resulted in a death and an arrest. By merging the two criminal gangs into one giant gang, Takemichi thought he had succeeded in changing the past and thus saving the lives of his friends. Back in the present, however, he realizes, with an incredible twist, to say the least, that this cycle is not yet over.
Based on the season 1 finale, it’s clear that the anime will have a sequel. Studio Liden, which led the animated implementation between ups and downs, has not yet made an official announcement. The wait has only just begun, but the community already seems to be run out of options. Indeed, as suggested by some users following the manga, the best is yet to come.
