The new chapter in Masashi Kishimoto’s work marks a fundamental turning point for the narrative, which ultimately moves forward to the first lightning bolt. In anticipation of further development, the latest events from Boruto come to life in the great animated clip from V Jump, Shueisha’s monthly magazine.
After the epic battle with Isshiki Otsutsuki, the manga by Kishimoto and Ikemoto is currently rolled into one Transition phase. The two factions in the field are indeed preparing the ground for the next decisive battle.
While Code, the heir to Issihiki’s will, has amassed a new group of allies, the Leaf Village is going through one severe internal crisis. The seventh Hokage and his shadow are no longer the almighty ninjas they once were, and the new generation isn’t ready to take on the Otsutsuki clan just yet. In addition, Kawaki, the author of a brilliant escape, thought the ninja of the leaf to worry too.
The V Jump video clip shared by user @ Abdul_S17 on Twitter revisits the highlights of Chapter 61 in an animated legend. In the cutscene, Inojin Kawaki unwittingly suggests the route to Konoha’s safety and Amado ponders the ship’s behavior. The clip closes with the Kawaki’s escapeonly known to his “brother” Boruto and Eida, Code’s clairvoyant allies. Here is Kawaki’s desperate decision and his final farewell in Boruto chapter 61.
