Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! – Chapter 5: I want to get involved in my friends’ business!
Sakuari wakes up abruptly after dreaming that he will fall from a very high place. Unfortunately, Uzaki saw the moment he woke up and how he did it. So she started teasing him about it. Increase in their teasing after a conference where they talked about the meaning of dreams.
While walking, Sakurai is overtaken by Itsuhito Sakaki. His friend. Who used it as a method to escape the conversation between two girls? Resting and talking, they are interrupted by Uzaki, who discovers that his Senpai’s friend really exists. Itsuhito realizes the close relationship the two of them have, and now he starts teasing Sakurai for finding love. Even if it’s just his speculation.
While Uzaki and Sakurai play together, Itsuhito takes the opportunity to interview them a little and find out more about their relationship. However, his questions are very open and direct, which annoys Sakurai, who decides to go with Uzaki. Soon after, Ami arrives, who confronts Itsuhito because he’s so direct with them. A conflict between their personalities and ways to “support” the relationship between Sakurai and Uzaki.
Switch roles
While Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! – In Chapter 5 there was a little role reversal between Uzaki and Sakurai. It was only during one scene when Uzaki tried to fall down the stairs but was saved by Sakurai. At that moment, Sakurai was the one bothering Uzaki. Something I liked to see because of the unusual situation. Let me see again that their current relationship is one of friends, but every now and then they do things like they are more than that.
One of them happened when Uzaki was feeding Sakurai to try the chocolate mint for the first time. To later realize what it was about having an indirect kiss between them. Something that made me cry, the typical ‘kyaaa“. After all, they were both aware of what had just happened and they were ashamed. Pretty affectionate in my opinion.
By the way, back to the topic of chocolate mint a little. I’m a big chocolate lover, but I’m not in favor of combining it with mint to be the best possible. Though it’s not bad or anything. In any case, it was quite surprising how intense Uzaki got when discussing the taste with Sakurai. After all, I know more than one person who thinks chocolate mint taste is the same as toothpaste, and I don’t blame them as they both taste mint. Personally, however, I don’t think they taste the same or even very similar, largely due to the amount of mint between the flavors of both products.
But the intensity of Uzaki in this discussion made me laugh a lot, especially at the absurdity that he was gradually assuming. Sounds more and more like a comic book science fiction story, in a parallel universe in which a war between the ‘Chocolate Mentians‘ against ‘Anti-Chocolate Mint Brigade“. It seemed like one of those moments that were so strange and confusing that you just have to laugh.
Good looks, but it’s the worst
in the Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! – Chapter 5 made its official debut Itsuhito Sakaki, friend of the lonely Sakurai. Be 21 years old and share a school year with Sakurai. Itsuhito attracts girls’ attention for his looks, but his real personality is terrible.
I must confess, if I had been in Sakurai’s place when he was “interrogated” with Uzaki to find out more about their relationship, I couldn’t have avoided getting quite upset by the questions. I am a patient person in general, but there are times when I couldn’t be calm in front of someone because of their personality. Itsuhito is such a person.
While I like the personality of Ami and her father, I stay on the sidelines and just watch the relationship between Sakurai and Uzaki develop. I also believe that they will never make progress unless given a small boost. But Itsuhito’s direct and unsympathetic nature is something that really bothers me. To be the character I loathe most of all Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai!.
He seiyuu Itsuhito’s voice manager is Tomoya Takagi. New to the anime industry, this is her first role. Although it may not be the first time someone has heard, in the case of Shamuon, an old ‘utaite‘(Kind of a singing class to make the explanation easier) pulled back with a comeback seiyuu. I am fascinated by how her voice defines character.
Even so, I can’t help but feel that Itsuhito and Ami will build a strong relationship between them in the end. Maybe not anytime soon, but I have a feeling they will in the end. Or at least one of the two, a one-sided feeling.
By the way, in the manga, Itsuhito’s personality didn’t bother me as much as in this animated adaptation. So I’m a bit confused as to whether this is a good thing (by showing the character better) or a bad thing (because his personality is even worse than in the original work).
Details of Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! – Chapter 5
in the Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! – Chapter 5 There were a few moments when I liked their animation because they managed to get across to me. The first scene is when Sakurai tries to save the cat in his dream before he falls and wakes up. In this scene I confess that I felt dizzy.
While the other scene is on, Sakurai and Uzaki are walking down the stairs. I liked the fluidity of the animation in its movements, especially because it felt more organic when I saw the background “move”. By that I mean when you turn around at the landing to go further down, a few moments before Uzaki trips and is about to fall. This animation and its fluidity might not be perfect, but I pretty much liked it because it was something you didn’t expect to be animated that way.
In contrast to the reviews on the previous episodesThis will not have its section with the progress to the next chapter. Since the advance was removed from Youtube for “violating” their policies regarding sexual content or nudes. However, it was on the platform for about 24 hours so I was able to visualize the trailer before it was no longer available.
In the preview you can see that the typical beach episode is coming and shows Uzaki and Ami in their bathing suits. In addition to the occasional situation in connection with the fan service and the ecchi. Let’s say Sakurai will again experience the softness she felt when she tried VR, only this time it will be a “tighter” feeling.
