Chapter 24: The role of mother and wife

Yor is discouraged because she thinks the charade is over and that Loid will go with Fiona. The husband captures this by following her and deciding to do something, he leads her to a restaurant where she wants to take the reins and accept her defeat, but she fails and drinks alcohol to gain courage. When drunk, Yor speaks, suggesting he was jealous. Loid decides to be a seducer and suddenly receives a kick that knocks him unconscious. Waking up in his wife's legs, a pleasant memory in a dream. Now conscious, he tells her about his childhood and his mother, implying that she, Yor, is the real mother. The next day she can't remember what happened and her husband had to tell her everything again.

chapter opinion

I was wrong at first, I thought this would be the last episode of the season, but no, there will be another. I've already said that the times haven't counted since the new anime season usually waits a week to start. This chapter developed, at least somewhat, two important characters, one more than the other. About Loid, well we already have a deeper look into his past, a kind of throwback to his mother when he was in Yor's legs. We already know that in his childhood there was a crisis, a war, but everything was fine with his mother. Loid's past is something that catches my attention because we know a bit more about Yor than we do about him and I think his story has a lot, a lot to it. And it seems to me that we don't know much about Anya's experiments either, which will certainly be seen in due course.

To conclude on this part, the role of a mother and wife, as I understand it, is to know how to raise a daughter and keep the family together. In a way, these are the traditional values of a housewife, which can be understood from the conservative context of the country they live in.

Shopping with a friend

Becky, Becky, Becky. Sometimes I can stand them, sometimes I really like them, like in this chapter. Regardless of the purchases, which are very normal among friends and are a moment of sharing and even remembering (Anya knew very well), Becky's attitude stands out. Now we know why it is, even though it was worse. Growing up in a rich and powerful family brings with it social complexes and a sense of superiority that can turn a child into someone who already wants to be an adult, a kind of: You are inferior, the only ones who are like me are Adult. This must have given rise to his fondness for novels that have an 'adult' plot.

In any case, we see that Becky has evolved as a human being, has lost some of her imaginary and grown-up facet, has lived a little more as a child, with lots of money of course. His supervisor knows that and is happy about it. Speaking of her, I liked this character, I'd like to see her come back with a little more involvement because I see her as perfect for Mr. Elegant.

Good news

The good news is that there will be a second season of the anime and a movie. Regarding the latter, I don't know if it will be canon for the manga or an original story. From the anime, the safest thing is that they adapt the manga and put in an original thing or two. I hope the second season has a storyline, a general storyline, I feel like there's more emotion that way and it's more enjoyable. But hey, just wait for it to arrive.

About the Author

Sweety Otaku

One of the best parts of watching anime is how many times a show can surprise you. Sometimes for good, sometimes for bad. But if the Otaku know one thing, it's that anything is possible.
