Slime Taoshite 300-nen, Shiranai Uchi ni Level Max ni Nattemashita - Chapter 6: The Leviathan has arrived

As a reward for her achievement in achieving peace between the red and blue dragons, Azusa receives the Peace Medal in Demon Dominion. What will happen in three weeks. At this point, Azusa and the company are preparing to follow their protocols and avoid problems. The biggest problem was Halcara because of his bad luck at the time.

While they wait for the day when Beelzebub picks them up and takes them to the demonic domain, each of them prepares for the celebration in their own way. There is not much Rosalie can do, however, since as a ghost she cannot change her outfit. Thanks to her knowledge of Shalsha and her ability to create magic, Azusa knows a little more about ghosts and can swap Rosalie's dress for a gala dress without changing her soul.

The time for the journey came and Azusa and his company climb onto the back of a huge demonic beast called Leviathan. At the back there are buildings that you can rest in until you reach your destination. Meeting with Vania, one of the Leviathan sisters. Who swaps positions with his sister between flights and services.

The next day they arrive in Vanzerd, the capital of the demon domain. Although the ceremony lasts until the next day, Beelzebub takes it with him to meet the demon king beforehand so as not to have any direct influence on the celebration. Something that affects Azusa, Laika, and especially Halcara who is extremely nervous. When they reach the king's room, they meet a young lady who greets the highland witch kindly for her achievements, and Halcara for her energy drink. I speak casually to the elf until Azusa and his company find out that this young lady is Provato Pecora Aries, the Demon King.

Nothing can do 'bad salt' in Slime Taoshite 300-nen, Shiranai Uchi neither Level Max nor Nattemashita - Chapter 6

During the previous episodesThey showed us how Halcara is the type of character who gets into trouble one way or another. Either because of her unsuspecting personality or because of the bad luck that haunts her. And of course that shouldn't be missing from an event that is as important as fulfilling the Demon king on Slime Taoshite 300-nen, Shiranai Uchi ni Level Max and Nattemashita - Chapter 6.

With so many ways that Halcara could have made a mistake, I think the one shown in this chapter is the one that best suits his character. Something that complemented the Demon King's own personality quite well. Give it the touch of comedy and drama that the episode needed. A problem that Azusa and his company had been concerned about, but which was inevitable. At least Halkara didn't melt in the hot springs.

When I now speak of the demon king Provato Pecora Aries, I will first mention her here in Adelnate as Pecora. There is not much to talk about the character of Pecora due to its short appearance Slime Taoshite 300-nen, Shiranai Uchi ni Level Max and Nattemashita - Chapter 6. He showed part of his personality, something out of the ordinary for most anime Isekai. But perfect for the genres of this anime, which is much more focused on comedy than drama. Of course, maintaining the stereotype of the existence of a demon king.

The seiyuu is responsible for the voice of Pecora Yukari Tamurawho has also worked on characters like: Mine ((Akame ga Kill!), Chihaya Ikaruga ((Asu no Yoichi!), Asuha touhara ((Astarotte no omocha!), Ten ten ((Naruto), Rika Furude ((Higurashi no Naku Koro ni), among many others.

While I really liked the character of Pecora, she wasn't my favorite in this episode. Well, that position is taken by the Leviathan sheath. However, I will not speak of her until her sister Fatra appears in humanoid form. To be able to compare them, because of their good relationship, I could say at first sight that they are twins.

The laws of society

Something that I liked very much Slime Taoshite 300-nen, Shiranai Uchi ni Level Max and Nattemashita - Chapter 6 says that they talked a little more about the social background in this world. Although they did it by focusing on demonic society, I expected it much more than if they had shown human. Due to the nature of the characters, there is no ordinary person in Azusa's family yet.

Mention of the different races that make up demonic society, even a little bit about the laws that govern them. Although there wasn't much information about it, or at least not in great detail, I still have doubts. Do demons who can transform count as the race similar to humans? Beelzebub is a clear example of how one can switch from a human form to a fly and vice versa. Assuming Beelzebub's original form is that of a fly, is it counted within the demonic race that most closely resembles beasts / animals? She is not the only one, another example would be Vania and Fatra.

Regarding demonic laws, my doubts about demonic laws seem to soon be resolved, unlike the previous topic about the races that make up demonic society. At least I hope so. After all, otherwise we would have to say goodbye to Chalkara's character for his execution.

When I got back to the subject of laws, I found it strange that they share the same grief as humans when their king is attacked. I know you can use this type of punishment (and maybe common sense). However, with Pecora's personality, I could imagine it would all end in some kind of fine. Sure, if Pecora wasn't knocked out.

But what has made me curious the most, and that has to do with demonic laws and possibly some that are shared with human society, are the remains of the castle's past. Beelzebub already mentioned that demons are not trying to destroy the human world now. Which means they have done it in the past. Why did you change your mind Have you reached a peaceful settlement? Or was it a change in demon society that ended hostility between the two species? Part of me hopes these doubts won't be answered anytime soon, to give the story more time to calm down and gradually add depth to it.

Therefore Slime Taoshite 300-nen, Shiranai Uchi ni Level Max and Nattemashita - Chapter 6 has become one of my favorite episodes on the series as far as story goes. Because they mentioned and showed much more about the world they are in than in the previous chapters.

A mind that doubts occultism

Although I've already talked a little bit about the characters and the background to world history. There's one character in particular that I think has had a great development overall on this episode, Rosalie. More details about the spirits from an acquaintance of Shalsha (did you know him before you met Azusa?). He revealed that his "clothes" are part of his soul, created by his memories before his death, so that he could not change like that. Something I honestly appreciate about the story because even if it's a comedy, it seems a bit absurd to me that he can change his clothes very casually like it isn't.

But more than that, Rosalie could change her clothes after a few centuries. What I liked best about this character, and what I think she has developed great in this chapter, is her conversation with Halkara about how a ghost can experience things thanks to her and the highland witch that she couldn't have done before because of him Attachment to the factory building.

Even if this itself causes errors in the explanations of what is already known about spirits. By that I mean, Rosalie was able to exit the factory using Chalkara's body as a means of transportation to get to Azusa's house. So he would imagine that Rosalie was now tied to this house. Something that doesn't seem to be the case without having to own someone because of the freedom of movement he now has.

Compare this chapter with that of Laika and her return to her sister's wedding. I think Rosalie had much better character development even though she wasn't exactly the main character in the plot. Obviously, he starred in the first half of the episode. But it's not that Rosalie was the one who asked Azusa to help her go to the ceremony or elsewhere. I hope I explained myself correctly.

Incidentally, I think this chapter of Slime Taoshite 300-nen, Shiranai Uchi ni Level Max and Nattemashita It's the best animation yet. Well, I seemed to see a lot of moments when the studio wanted to show fluid movement in animation. Something that, although it didn't seem fully achievable to me, wasn't a catastrophe. In fact, it was pretty good to come from such a relatively recent study. Revoroot.

They didn't look like robot movements to me. Also, I felt like I had seen a lot of pictures to do the movements in a more "traditional" way rather than one that I was dependent on CGI. Something I really appreciate and hope to continue to see in the remnants of the anime. And of course in the next projects in which this study works.
