In the latest issue of the magazine Weekly shonen jump, published by Shueisha Verlag, has been announced that the author Kaiu Shirai and the illustrator Posuka Demizuthey will be releasing a new one-shot chapter for their famous manga series Yakusoku no never land (also known as The promised Neverland) to commemorate the beginning of the second season of his anime series adaptation. This launch will have 32 pages (one of them in color), published and titled on January 4th, 2021 in the above-mentioned magazine We were born.
Previously, the magazine published two one-shot chapters, one focused on the character of Sister Krone and the other focused on Isabella. Both were released on December 7th and 14th, respectively.

Shirai and Demizu started publishing the manga in the magazine Weekly shonen jump from the publisher Shueisha in August 2016 and finalized in June 2020. The publisher published the nineteenth compilation volume on July 19, followed by the twentieth and final on October 2.
The piece inspired an anime adaptation that was released in January 2019. A live-action film with minor changes to the plot will be released on December 18th. A second season of the anime has been confirmed to premiere in October 2020, but due to the current health situation in Japan, it will now be released in January 2021.
