Eikichi Onizuka’s debut took place in Shonan Junai Gumi over 30 years ago. At the time, he was just a kid who loved riding motorcycles with fellow thugs and giving a shit with rival gangs. Then came maturity and debut in the world of work with GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka.

This manga sequel to Shonan Junai Gumi made Eikichi Onizuka’s character famous and iconic. Having become a professor, which was unthinkable in his youth, he will accompany middle school students on bizarre paths and certainly different from other professors on their way. There The character creation is thanks to Tohru Fujisawa, Shonan Junai Gumi’s mangaka, GTO and all associated offshoots, and of course he will determine the conclusion of the character story.

In fact, during the broadcast of the Manganuma program, the Tohru Fujisawa mangaka announced that GTO: Paradise Lost will be the final series in the GTO manga. He added that once this manga is completed, he will be working on other unfinished projects again, although they will be difficult to deal with again after all the time they have been stopped. However, Fujisawa also stated that this universe could be continued in other ways, with other characters or other forms, but not with a main storyline.

GTO: Paradise Lost is currently running despite some temporary interruptions. The sequel, which has been running on Young Magazine since 2014, currently comprises 15 volumes.
