In the first issue of the magazine Manga Time Kirara forward from the publisher Houbunsha the last chapter of the manga written and illustrated by Ushiki Yoshitaka, Yumekui Merry. The chapter included a color page to close the work.
Ushiki started publishing the manga in the magazine Manga Time Kirara forward from the publisher Houbunsha The publisher released the twenty-third compilation volume on June 12th and will release the twenty-fourth and final volume on December 11th in Japan.
The piece inspired a thirteen-episode anime adaptation produced by the studios. JC staff, Headed by Shigeyasu Yamauchi and scripts from Ushiki Yoshitaka, published January 2011.
Yumekui Happy summary
Yumeji Fujiwara is a seemingly normal student. However, ten years ago, Yumeji acquired the ability to see other people’s dream auras around him. The ability enables Yumeji to predict what type of dream the person will have next. Others’ dreams may not be a mystery to Yumeji, but his own dreams have confused him very much. Dream after dream, Yumeji has been haunted by a large number of cats led by John Doe, who claims that he needed Yumeji’s body in order to enter the real world.
These strange events become even stranger when Yumeji meets Nightmare Merry, a demon made of dreams who tries to return to his own world. With her might, Yumeji decides to help him, but Merry’s mere presence in the real world shows that the barrier that separates dreams from reality has been broken …
