The Solo Leveling Webtoon is over

With the publication of chapter number 179, the adaptation of the novels of Chugong, Solo leveling, responsible for Jang-sung-rak, it is finished. The final chapter was published on the Service on December 29th Cocoa side and included a closing note that wrote:

«Hello to all of our readers. I am Jang Sungrak. Thank you for loving our series despite its flaws. By taking solo leveling as a new challenge, I was able to learn many things. I am very happy and at the same time I regret the love we received all along. I want to thank all of the artists who helped me, Park Mogoon who only helped me on season one, and Lee Mogoon who helped me do the work of two people temporarily for a month or two. They both did a lot because they wanted this show to be good».

Go on: “I want to take this moment to say that without the passion and help from both of us, I couldn’t have made such a good series. I would like to thank you for that. Especially Lee Mogoon, who was a more important colleague than anyone, the most important colleague. He stayed with me and worked on the series while coloring the chapters through to the end. For his part, Chugong published the original novels through Cocoa side between July 2016 and March 2018 with a total of fourteen volumes. An adaptation to Webtoon has been published since March 2018 to Cocoa side from the hand of Jang sung-rak and ended in December 2021. The first season of this webtoon ended on March 19, 2020 and the second began on August 1 of the same year.

Solo leveling synopsis

Since a portal appeared that connects our world with another full of monsters and creatures of all kinds, some people have acquired powers and the ability to hunt them and have been given the name hunters. The protagonist, Sung Jin-woo, is the weakest hunter of the E rank and hardly stronger than a normal person. He is called “the weakest” by his fellow hunters. One day he and others find themselves in an extremely dangerous dungeon, in which only a few can survive and escape. Sung Jin-woo himself barely survives and is the only one who completes all tests in this dungeon and becomes a “player” who can now see a user interface that shows him missions, statistics, inventory, shops and levels. Will he manage to become the most powerful hunter?
