On the official site for the manga adaptation of the light novels written by Dachima Inaka and illustrated by Pochi Iida, Tsuujou Kougeki ga Zentai Kougeki de ni Kai Kougeki no Okaasan wa Suki Desuka? (also known as Okaasan Online), the cover of the fourth compilation volume was published. The volume will be released in Japan on July 3 and the adaptation to manga is the responsibility of Meicha.
Inaka began publishing the light novels with illustrations by Iida in January 2017 through the publisher Fujimi Shobo. The work came to an end with the eleventh volume published on April 17. For its part, Meicha publishes the manga in the magazine Young Ace Up from the publisher Kadokawa since September 2017.
The novels inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by the studios. J.C. Staff under the direction of Yoshiaki Iwasaki and scripts written by Deko Akao, released in July 2019.
Okaasan Online Synopsis
Forming a group of adventurers with your mother in an online game doesn’t seem like the best thought-out idea for teens.
Unfortunately, Masato Oosuki is in this predicament. After completing an apparently useless survey, he is transported to a fantasy world of an MMORPG, in the company of his mother! To further stir things up, it turns out that her mother is a very powerful swordsman and possesses the power of two legendary swords. After a moment of tension between the two, they will have to find members to form a team of adventurers, meeting the merchant Porta and the wise Wise, with which they will begin their journey to complete the game.
