On the official page for the manga written and illustrated by Kozue Amano, Amanchu!The work has been reported to have entered its final arc with the publication of the ninety-eighth volume, published today.

Amano started publishing the manga in the magazine Comic blade from the publisher Likes garden in November 2008. The publisher released the fifteenth compiled volume in December 2019 and will release the sixteenth in February 2021.

The piece inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by the studios. J.C. Employee, Headed by Junichi Sato and scripts written by Decoration Akao, released in July 2016. A second season of twelve episodes premiered in April 2018.

Synopsis of Amanchu!

Originally from a big city, Futaba Ooki spends most of her days cataloging her everyday life using the photos on her cell phone. When she moves to a coastal city, she looks out over the sea and is fascinated by the endless possibilities. Indeed, unnoticed by Futaba, their silent contemplation caught the attention of diving enthusiast Hikari Kohinata and led them to a cute friendship.

Futaba will struggle to adjust to the variety in her life and will be captivated by Hikari's great energy and passion for diving. Together, they will join the school's diving club and will work towards official certification as they learn new friendships and opportunities.
