The publisher can use its official Twitter account Panini Manga Mexico announced that it will release the manga written and illustrated by Norihiro Yagi, Claymorefrom next May. The literature series appears monthly with compilations volumes at a price of 119 Mexican pesos.
For his part, Yagi published the manga in various of the publisher’s magazines Shueisha Between May 2001 and December 2014 a total of 27 compilation volumes were published. Subsequently, the literary franchise inspired a video game for Nintendo ds, developed by Digital Works Entertainment and released in Japan in May 2009.
In addition, the piece inspired a 26-episode anime adaptation produced by the studios. Madhouse, Headed by Hiroyuki Tanaka and scripts written by Yakuko Kobayashi, published April 2007. Funimation owns the international distribution rights.
Claymore synopsis
When a changing demon with a hunger for human flesh known as “Youma” arrives in Raki’s village, a lonely woman with silver eyes walks into town with only a sword behind her. She is a “claymore”, a being made half-human and half-Youma with the express aim of exterminating these monsters. After Raki’s family is murdered, the Claymore saves his life, but is subsequently banished from his home. Nowhere else does Raki meet the Claymore named Clare again and decide to follow her on her travels.
