The Black Lagoon: Soujiya Sawyer Spin-off Manga – Kaitai! Gore Gore Musume published his first volume

It has been reported that the first volume of the spin-off manga was written by Rei Hiroe and illustrated by Ida Tatsuhiko, Black Lagoon: Soujiya Sawyer – Kaitai! Gore Gore Musume, published its first compilation volume in Japan today.

Hiroe and Ida started publishing the manga through the magazine Monthly Sunday GX from the publisher Shogakukan in September 2019. This spin-off manga series focuses on the character of Sawyer, a freelance cleaner in the underworld of Roanapur who does his “jobs” with a chainsaw.

For its part, Rei Hiroe write and illustrate the original manga Black lagoonpublished in the magazine Monthly Sunday Gene-X from the publisher Shogakukan since April 2002. The publisher published the eleventh volume in November 2018.

The work inspired an anime adaptation produced by the studios with twelve episodes. Madhouse under the direction and scripts of Sunao KatabuchiA second season, with twelve episodes, premiered in October of the same year.
