It's the end of May and that's why the Oricon company has collected all the data to create a very important ranking: the list of best-selling manga in Japan in the first half of 2022, which runs from November 22, 2021 to May 22 this year. And as you can see, Jujutsu Kaisen triumphed.

Here she is Top 10 best-selling manga in Japan in the first half of 2022:

  1. Jujutsu Kaisen - 9,382,099
  2. Tokyo Revengers – 7,200,532
  3. SPY × FAMILY - 4,835,705
  4. ONE PIECE - 4,155,790
  5. My Hero Academia – 2,894,149
  6. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – 2,555,433
  7. Mystery of Iu Nakare - 2,492,813
  8. Kaiju #8 - 1,858,391
  9. My dress-up favorite - 1,723,644
  10. Blue lock - 1,558,323

Jujutsu Kaisen took advantage of the movie Jujutsu Kaisen 0 and the boost that still comes from the anime's first season, the same goes for Tokyo Revengers and Spy x Family closing the podium. Out of the top three places ONE PIECE while Demon Slayer appears again which, despite not being among the best-selling volumes in the first half of 2022, posted horizontal and cumulative gains across all volumes.

This is also a long wait Kaiju #8 and Blue Lock which despite not having anime are very high in this ranking and the same can be done with Mystery to Iu nakare, a josei and therefore more of a niche category and outside of the big rounds.
