Creator of the successful series of One punch man, which is still running on Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump, and the wacky and hilarious mob Psycho 100, ONE has become one of the craziest writers in the entire business. His ideas, bizarre as they are, have managed to garner many readers and he will soon be back with a new series entitled VERSUS.

Confirmation came from user @MangaMoguraRE, a more than authoritative source in the industry, via the post you can see at the bottom of the page. ONE will write the story of the new series, while Azuma Kyoutarou, already known from Tenkaichi and King of Fighters, will take care of the art. The first chapter of VERSUS will be released on November 26, 2022 on the pages of the first 2023 issue of Weekly Shonen Sirius magazine published by Kodansha.

Unfortunately, no previews of the manga have been released, but it has been confirmed that the plot will develop around some kind of tournament in which 47 of the best heroes must face as many demons Chosen by the Demon Lord. So it’s going to be an action and combat focused shonen that certainly won’t lack the insane yet brilliant touch of ONE. Let us know what you think of this unexpected news in the comments.
