We are still returning to Onigashima but mostly focusing on a single confrontation that has become a personal matter Zorro and King in chapter 1033 of ONE PIECE available on Manga Plus.
The chapter bears the title “Shimotsuki Kozaburo” and continues in Onigashima Castle with the battle of Zoro and King. The swordsman complains to Enma that she is out of control again. However, he manages to recover the haki and get his arm back to normal. King takes advantage of this and appears in front of him, but without attacking the pirate. Zoro is surprised, but he also takes advantage of it to hit him with his own Sandai-Kitetsu. King does not appear to be harmed, but a moment later he explodes.
Let’s go back to the Pleasure Hall, where Sanji is still fighting with Queen. Queen says Zoro can never win against King. The latter is a Member of the extinct Lunaria breedwhose members were also called gods in ancient times. It immediately returns to Zoro and King while Queen tries to attack.

Zoro slowly realizes that his swords have a nobler origin than he thought, they were forged by Shimotsuki Kozaburo. In the present, the fight continues, King attacks and Zoro manages to bring Enma back. The latter, however, takes Haki back on, which gets him into trouble. In a new flashback, he remembers the old man he had spoken to in his village, whose name he never knew and who only found out after a long time that it was him Kuina’s grandfather.
A flashback begins in ONE PIECE 1033, set thirteen years earlier in the village of Shimotsuki in East Blue. Zoro meets this old man who me speaks of sunacchi and who gives him two swords for training outside the dojo. However, Kozaburo also goes into other explanations, such as: the personality of each sword and how some are cursed only because they are feared by the weakest.
In the present, Zoro is lying on the floor with a surprised expression on his face, connects Enma with Kozabourowho have favourited Shimotsuki and Wano. Zoro realizes that the sword chose him and now he’s testing it, so he grabs it and his arm goes back to the size it was before. King stands before him.
