The sixth part of JoJo’s bizarre adventure comes to Netflix in a few days with the first ten episodes. The new season bears the title JoJo: Stone Ocean and will star Jolyne Cujoh. To mark the occasion, Warner Bros. Japan hosted a streaming event on November 28th on the company’s official channel.
So far, the official line-up and season start date have been announced: theDecember 1st on Netflix. Now the opening theme of the popular anime series, also known for theLove that fans feel towards these openings.
The song selected for the final theme was and will be revealed during the Netflix Festival Japan 2021 in the show “Road to STONE OCEAN” Distant dreamers by singer Duffy. Four different video trailers for JoJo: Stone Ocean were also released on this occasion.
The brand new opening with the name “STONE OCEAN” is the work of the artist ichigo of the band Kishida Kyoudan & The Akeboshi Rockets. The animated component is instead the work of Studio Kamikaze Douga, who worked on Batman Ninja.
This opening returns to the origins of the animated franchise by showing itself in Computer graphics and not drawn like in previous seasons. That almost feels like a mixture of all of the previous parts with lots of quotes, visual and acoustic cues.
