The official My Dress-Up Darling Twitter account confirmed today that the series has done so 5.5 million copies printed (physical) and (digital) sold starting with the ninth volume, which is released in Japan today.
The TV Anime My dress up favorite is directed by Keisuke Shinohara and features animation by Studio CloverWorks. The anime compared so well to the manga that the author spent 13 hours watching My Dress-Up Darling. The series began on January 8th and streams weekly on Crunchyroll, which describes the series as follows:
