It was the month of September 2022 when the first signs and rumors about the inevitable conclusion of the light novel series began to appear on the web monogatari and the manga adaptation Bakemonogatari drawn by Oh! Great. Finally, the original author, NisiOisiN, has confirmed the publication date of the conclusion of this 17+ year journey.
The supernatural-themed series edited by Kodansha spanned 28 volumes, the last of which was released on August 19, 2021, also received several anime adaptations and has always welcomed new generations of readers and viewers from around the world. The author has now confirmed this The light novel series and manga will end on May 17, 2023as you can see in the post and infographic at the bottom of the page.
Although the Bakemonogatari manga was canceled due to Oh! Great, the adaptation is nearing completion with the 21st volume being released on March 16th, 2023 and the 22nd and final scheduled for May 17th. Also released in Japan on the same date, the 29th novel, Ikusamonogatariwhich will determine the final conclusion of NisiOisiN's work.
