Summary of Kakushigoto

Kakushi Gotou is a somewhat popular manga artist whose works are known for their inappropriate content. Because of this, when her daughter Hime was born, she vowed to keep her profession a secret from her, believing she would be disappointed if she found out. This paranoia-induced belief leads Kakushi into hectic situations. Despite being a single parent, he goes to great lengths and often goes to extremes to protect his secret, such as dressing up as a salaryman every day or doing emergency drills in case Hime somehow gets to his job. Kakushigoto tells the story of a father and daughter who live together and maintain their peaceful existence while the father tries to maintain the status quo. However, there is a saying: "There are no secrets that time cannot reveal." Over time, Hime needs to learn the reality behind the things that she took for granted.
