Synopsis of Kanojo mo Kanojo

After harboring an unrequited love for several years, Naoya Mukai finally gets a date with her childhood friend, Saki Saki. Just as he tries to get involved in this relationship, however, he receives an abrupt confession from Nagisa Minase.

At first Naoya tries to reject her, but is soon overwhelmed by the feeling that she doesn’t want to hurt her. Naoya tries to avoid betraying his girlfriend’s trust in him and thinks of a “solution” to make both happy: going out with both of them. Of course, Saki rejects the idea, but through Naoya and Nagisa’s persistence, she eventually accepts it. This begins a three-headed romance between Naoya, his girlfriend, and his other girlfriend, who has already had a relationship that deviates from the social norm from the start.
