Every year, AnimeJapan, one of the biggest events in the anime landscape, polls anime and manga fans to see what the 10 Manga That Deserve An Anime Adaptation over the next year, Japanese fans say, hoping producers will choose the listed series for their own animation studios.
The results for 2022 were released today with some surprising (and some not so good) headlines. Some of the larger series that made the list last year such as SPY x FAMILY and Komi cannot communicate, luckily they don’t show up on the list due to anime adaptations that have been announced or even already released! But series like Solo Leveling and Senpai wa Otokonoko appear this year, despite their obvious popularity, alongside newcomers Kaiju No. 8 and Oshi no Ko are back on the list.

Just recently, a very reliable leaker reported the rumor that Oshi No Ko is getting an actual anime transposition. There is no other official information about it, but the leaker himself was expecting that Dead Dead Demon’s Dededededestruction would also get an anime transposition, and today came the official announcement with a teaser for the Dead Dead Demon anime Dededededestruction. So the fans who voted Oshi no Ko Among the 10 manga that deserve an anime transposition, they will be happy.
