In the latest issue of the magazine Weekly young magazine, it was revealed that the manga was written and illustrated by Kiseki Himura, Getsuyoubi no Tawawa (Tawawa on Monday) has exceeded 250,000 cumulative editions, with only one anthology published so far. The announcement also confirmed that the manga will be resumed in the next issue of the magazine, slated for June 21 in Japan.

Getsuyoubi no Tawawa

Himura started posting the series of illustrations through his official Twitter account and is updated with a new chapter every Monday. Later, Himura began to publish the work on paper through the magazine Weekly young magazine from the publisher Kodansha in November 2020. The first compiled volume was released in April 2021 in Japan. Before being published on paper, the work inspired an adaptation into a twelve-part animated short series produced by the studios. Pine jam and was released in Japan in October 2016.

Summary of Getsuyoubi no Tawawa

An employee is pretty depressed, especially on Mondays. At his lowest point, a high school girl introducing herself as Ai-chan comes across him and he accidentally buries his face in her chest. That excitement served as the starting point for their relationship. This story has additional images and is presented on a single page posted every Monday on the author’s Twitter account, in honor of the title of the work and its subject.
