The end of Fire Force was already announced a month ago, but now a Twitter account has revealed itself to fans of the manga Atsushi Okubo how many chapters are left until the end of the series.
The series debuted on the pages of Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2015 and was so successful that it was adapted into an anime for the small screen by David Productions. So far, 32 volumes have been published in Japan, telling us the story of Shinra Kusakabe, a young boy who had joined the 8th Special Brigade a few years earlier to investigate the death of his family. As you can see from the tweet at the end of the news, after the pages published in this issue of Weekly Shonen Magazine, the stories of Shinra and the other original characters end after two more chapters.
The news has caused fans to debate a lot, divided between those who were hoping for more chapters dedicated to Fire Force and those who instead believe it’s a right decision by the Japanese mangaka. At the moment we don’t know if an anime will be produced by it last part of the seriesin the meantime, here’s our recap of Fire Force Season 1.
“Fire Force” by Atsushi Ohkubo will end in two chapters in Weekly Shounen Magazine after next week’s chapter.
