In the manga industry, with the tremendous competitiveness fueled by publishers, it is always difficult for a mangaka to penetrate and build a fan base of their own, and it is even rarer for authors to endorse the work of others. Hiro Mashima, manga artist from Fairy tale and Edens Zero, however, is an exception and has recommended a work to its readers.
The author, who conceived the story and adventures of Natsu, the Fairy Tail guild and Shiki Granbell at the helm of Eden’s Zero, has actually suggested fans devote some time to reading a series that will be released in 2022 and by which was published by Kodansha Publishing House. It’s about Bokura no Souretsuwhich is currently running in Japan and is characterized by a very dark story, with dark tones and a rather clean style.
It is the first follow-up workAuthor Yuki Asagiri, and as you can also see from @MangaMoguraRE’s post at the bottom of the page, Master Mashima seems to have been particularly impressed. The story, although far removed from the one told by Mashima himself, is about one unknown disease that has turned some people into Hotokessnake-like monsters.
An organization was set up to eradicate this particular species, but it operates using completely immoral methods. Saijo Kaito, a boy who is attracted to Rina Tamami, will soon come to terms with the girl’s hatred of the organization and come dangerously close to the world of the monstrous undead. And you Did you know about this relatively new series? Will you take Mashima’s advice? Let us know in the comments.
Finally, we want to remind you that Mashima already has a new manga in mind and we leave you with the story of Fairy Tail anime.
Asagiri Yuuki’s “Bokura no Souretsu” is recommended by Hiro Mashima, creator of “Fairy Tail”.
