The death of Kentaro Miura left a void. The loss of one of the most talented artists and creators of one of the most famous dark fantasy stories of all time can only leave you amazed. Inevitably, readers are also aware that this could mean Berserk’s stop. But there is also Duranki to think about something.
For several years, together with his assistants, Kentaro Miura had published this manga always published in Hakusensha magazines. Over time, not many chapters of Duranki have been published and are now set to end. Unlike Berserk, who may still have some chance of moving on, Duranki is too short and just beginning to move on.
In return, Hakusensha announced that the The first and last volume of Duranki will be published on December 24, 2021. The Tankobon, which will be out in a few months, will contain all of the few chapters previously published by the publisher, as well as the drafts of the production, notes on the series and even the original script, perhaps complete with the ending that Kentaro Miura wanted it to give it.
On the same day, Volume 41 of Berserk goes up for sale, which could see some news on the horizon with Young Animal’s release planned in a few days.
The volume contains:
– sketches
– Notes on the series
-the original script (we don’t know if it contains the intended ending for the manga) https://t.co/o6ZSpRt1eP– Manga Mogura RE (@MangaMoguraRE) September 6, 2021
