Dynit managed to obtain the rights to Demon Slayer: Infinite Train which will therefore soon arrive in Italy. So, for obvious reasons, it’s important to understand whether the film is canonical or not, and possibly to know which chapters Studio Ufotable is adapting.
At the height of his throne, Demon Slayer: Infinity Train recently surpassed The Enchanted City of Hayao Miyazaki at the box office and becomes the top grossing animated film in the world as well as Your Name in terms of views. In fact, the movie is currently the second most popular anime movie in the world, and its number is growing day by day.
However, the first season of Demon Slayer had 54 chapters to be precise, with an average of 2 chapters being adapted to the episode. The film on the other hand it will obviously be canonical as it will act as a sequel to the TV series and therefore it is necessary to restore it in order not to miss basic parts of the story near the much-rumored Season 2 Ghost train saga, adapted in the movie in question, will therefore cover i Chapters from 53 to 66. In order to fully restore the manga, the anime still has 139 chapters to adapt, sufficient material for at least 50 episodes.
