Darwin’s game summary
High school student Kaname Sudou receives an invitation from a classmate to play Darwin’s Game, a mobile game he has never heard of. However, as soon as you open the application, a green snake suddenly appears on your phone screen, biting your neck and knocking you unconscious. When he wakes up in the infirmary with no sign of a snakebite, the school tells him to take the rest of the day off. Although confused by what happened, he dismisses the surreal experience as a hallucination and hops on the train to go home. Unfortunately, his curiosity overwhelms him and he uses the application again.
Since the app appears to be like any other fighting game, Kaname breathes a sigh of relief and decides to start his first match. The pleasant surprise, however, is short-lived when his opponent unexpectedly appears in front of him in the game and tries to chase him down with a knife. As he desperately runs for his life, Kaname adds two and two and realizes that Darwin’s Game is no ordinary game, but a brutal struggle for survival.
