Synopsis of D.Gray-man

Losing a loved one is so painful that we sometimes wish we could revive him, a weakness that the enigmatic Millennium Earl takes advantage of. To make his mechanical weapons known as "Akuma", he uses the souls of the dead to be recalled. Once a soul is placed in an "Akuma", it will be trapped forever. The only way to save them is to drive them out of their ship with the anti-Akuma weapon "Innocence".

After spending three years as a student of General Cross, Allen Walker is sent to the Black Order, an organization made up of those who are ready to fight the "Akuma" and the Millennium Earl to become exorcists. With one arm as "innocence" and one cursed eye that can see the souls in the "Akuma", it is up to Allen and his exorcists to stop the evil Millennium Earl's plans that involve the destruction of the world.
