A leak through the social network Weibo confirmed that the manga was written and illustrated by Tite Kubo, Burn the witch will have a "second season" whose serialization start date has not been announced. The statement also announced that the first compilation volume in the series has canceled its previously announced postponement, so re-launching for next October 2nd in Japan.

In addition, Kubo began to publish the manga in the magazine Weekly shonen jump from the publisher Shueisha on August 24th and is planned with only four chapters. In fact, the author published this series as a 62-page one-shot in Shueisha-Verlag's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine back in July 2018.

The piece inspired an anime adaptation in OVA format, which is due to premiere in Japanese cinemas on October 2nd. Production takes place through Studio colorful Headed by Tatsuro Kawano and scripts written by Chika suzumura.

The protagonists of the story are Noel Niihashi and Ninny Spangcole. They are protection agents for Wing Bind, an organization that protects and manages kites. Your mission is to protect and manage the dragons in London on behalf of their people.
