Chapter 59 of Boruto: Naruto the next generations landed on Manga Plus, the official website of the Shueisha publishing house. In the new 41 plates, the master Masashi Kishimoto and the artist Mikio Ikemoto have laid the foundation for interesting developments that prefer dialogues and explanations to action and end with a surprising twist.
The chapter starts with a great color page, entirely dedicated to the character of Kawaki, and presents the title with a unique character.Knight“. Kawaki wakes up in Amado’s study after a terrible nightmare in which code threatened his death. Kawaki quickly explains the recurring images to the scientist and is amazed by Amado’s words. “You are still an Isshiki Otstsuki ship. And that will never change.”
Not accepting that he is still a mere tool in Isshiki and Kara’s plans, the boy beats Amado, slams him against the wall and tells him to keep quiet. Reluctant to interrupt the explanation, the scientist states that in order to stop Code that threatens to kill him, Boruto and also the Seventh Hokage, Kawaki needs more power. The loss of karma naturally weakened the young man, but Amado suggests somehow getting it back just to use it as a weapon with no consequences that could somehow affect Isshiki.
Immediately afterwards the scene changes to Code and Elda. We discover that Elda is not a seasoned fighter and would need help in the event of a close encounter. So she advertises Code as her knight before the boy asks her a troubling question. If she were left alone against Boruto or Kawaki, over which her skills have no bearing, who would defend her? The girl seems to have stock Another knight and asks Code to follow her to introduce him.
In a quick succession of plates, we see Kawaki strolling the streets of Konoha, where he meets Shikadai, while Sumire realizes that Amado probably only showed the young man these opportunities for personal gain. Code finally seems to finally know the other knight, that is Daemon, Elda’s younger brother.
Alerted by the release of another cyborg from Mr. Boro, four guards arrive who are brutally and quickly killed by Daemon, who is able to reflect on the enemy’s attacks.
