One of the biggest rumors surrounding Bleach's death concerned an alleged falling out between Shueisha and Tite Kubo. Indeed, due to the manga's sales slump, the publisher would have pushed the Sensei to complete the work in a handful of chapters, but not without sparking some controversy.
Today we know that the completion of Bleach has been rushed due to health issues of the author, who died at the end of the Thousand Years of War SagaShe began to suffer the blows of a long serialization. However, during a recent interview with Viz, Tite Kubo returned to the subject to clarify an important point.
In fact, the mangaka made it clear that his intentions were from the beginning Complete Bleach within 15 yearsfurther confirmation that shueisha he wouldn't have forced the sensei to put an end to his little jewel prematurely. However, Kubo added that all those battles he couldn't pull back then will be restored in the new season with additional content that will enrich the Millennial War saga.
So we just have to wait for the debut of the anime to know how many elements the author, whose involvement in the production is quite important, has added. And you instead, what do you expect? As always, please let us know with a comment below.
Tite Kubo: "I had decided in my mind to finish the manga in 15 years, and with so many characters appearing in the final arc, there were many fight scenes that never made it into the manga.
