Kentaro Miura's Masterpiece, berserk, was resumed a few months ago thanks to the teacher's childhood friend Kouji Mori and GAGA studios. So on the paper front, the adventures of Gatsu go on more or less regularly, but now the question is: will there ever be a new anime?
The 1997 adaptation of Berserk is an overall remarkable accomplishment, however it is a 20+ year old project that might need some modernizing by a decent technical sector. There is another adaptation of the saga, a continuation of the 97 series, curated by Liden Films which, however, in no way met the expectations of the readers due to very appealing computer graphics.
Currently there is no information about a Remake of Berserker or a new anime project, so it's hard to imagine an exit window with certainty. However, given the franchise's importance in The Rising Sun and its success in the West, it's by no means impossible that the work could return to the small screen with a new anime anytime soon. maybe as early as 2024 or in the following year.
