The narrative universes developed by FromSoftware, which took shape in the successful video games Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, Bloodborne and Sekiro, contain several references to Berserk, Masterpiece by the late Kentaro Miura, and Hidetaka Miyazaki returned once more to pay homage to the master in his latest opera, Elden Ring.

Various materials have been disseminated over the past few months, including Videos, leaks and promotional images and the community of enthusiasts from both universes noticed a lot of pretty cool Easter eggs. Especially after the 15-minute Elden Ring gameplay was published on November 4, 2021, several users posted the comparison images that you can find at the end of the news on social networks.

The first one noticed by @PrimeNostalgia concerns the mysterious female figure who in part of the video approaches the tarnished face and reveals its face, where the left eye appears closed by a unique tattoo. It is not yet known if the woman is actually Orba, but Berserk's reference to Gatsu may still seem compelling. Fan @AesirAesthetics instead highlighted an impressive resemblance between the girl's helmet that appeared in one of the game's first trailers and the one worn by Farnese on the battlefield.

Another reference is the knight wolf that appears in the trailer, the design of which is explicitly reminiscent of the armor of Gatsu himself, and the pose that the protagonist assumes in the cover of volume 28. We finally find ourselves instead a parallel between the Spiral Tree designed by Miura and the Golden Tree, is now a symbol of the Elden Ring advertising campaign. And did you notice any other details? Tell us in the comments.

In conclusion, we would like to remind you that the special Berserk art book is no longer exclusive to the exhibition organized in Tokyo, and leave curiosities from the world of Elden Ring to others.
