Cornini, bikini and brindle panties, purple hair and a smile with pointed canine teeth, the so-called "yaiba", which fascinate the Japanese so much. A unique and unforgettable design that Rumiko Takahashi prepared in the '70s to start his first real series, Urusei Yatsura, original title of the famous lumen.

"Those of the Planet Uru", a translation of the Japanese title, which already indicated the arrival of an extraterrestrial in contact with the inhabitants of the earth. AND It was Ataru Moroboshi who contacted Lum of the planet Uru, a girl who misunderstood some of the protagonist's words and was convinced that he would marry her off, thus setting in motion a series of unfortunate events and back-and-forths involving the boy.

Years later, Rumiko Takahashi has returned to draw Lum for the anime that will debut in 2022 and bring the friendly alien back to TV. But between us Lum comes with cosplay which are now springing up like mushrooms on the Internet. Indeed, after the anime announcement, many cosplayers wore costumes and wigs to replicate Lum, such as Chinese cosplayer MingTao in the photo below.

The first teaser of Lum prepared by David Productions has already inflamed fans, are you ready for his return?
