In Japan, Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine has become very well known over the years, especially for Dragon Ball or for the Big Three ONE PIECE, Naruto and Bleach. But in the 2000s and the first half of the 10s there was another very long-lived series that served as a mainstay for what is probably the most famous manga magazine in the world: Gintama.
Born alongside Death Note in 2003, Gintama ended in 2019 after several postponements by the author, who never managed to meet the deadlines he set with the magazine’s publisher. In the end, however, the epic and very long story of Gintoki Sakata and his friends Yorozuya ended. A fun adventure that owes its popularity to the alchemy created with all the other characters as well with the young Kagura.
Hers is an iconic character from Gintama: Always dressed in a red dress reminiscent of Chinese, she has gathered orange hair and carries an umbrella, which she often uses as a weapon, unleashing her superhuman strength. However, like everyone else, he will often engage in funny expressions depending on the situation. Here is Gintama’s kagura in a cosplay where she sticks a finger up her nose and smiles created by talented Japanese cosplayer Takane.
Gintoki also got a fun cosplay to celebrate the film in the series.
