The fall of a simple notebook cannot lead to epochal changes in the human world. Everything changes when this notebook is not a “simple notebook” but a mystical object that comes from the world of the Shinigami and especially when it falls into certain hands. And it is with this object that the story of death noticeone of the most famous manga of all time.
Takeshi Obata and Tsugumi Ohba, the first with the drawings and the second with the story, managed to captivate everyone through the pages published on Weekly Shonen Jump twenty years ago. Such was the success that shortly after the end of the manga, an anime well-made by Madhouse was also obtained, which managed to spread the word of Kira even more around the world.
The story follows Light Yagami, a brilliant high school student, with well above average grades and a certain morality and mindset. Just collecting that strange black notebook dropped by the Ryuk Shinigami will make him become the god of the new world, Kira. His challenge with a detective will be fundamental to the Death Note sequel, but the same can be said of meeting Misa Amanea second Kira that supports Light’s methods.
Although the two haven’t seen each other in years given the tragic end of Death Note, here they are in the same photo thanks to two cosplayers. You can see this in the first photo of the post below Light Yagami and Misa Amane double cosplayboth with black notebooks in hand and ready to punish other criminals without mercy.
There is also a solo cosplay by Misa Amane, while The Simpsons recently did a parody of the anime.
