It’s been a while since graduating from Chainsaw Man in Weekly Shonen Jump. The horror manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto has received great public recognition due to its atypical nature. This was enough to make big sales in Japan, but with the anime on the way, the hype surrounding the project has increased dramatically.
During the MAP Fest in late June, the studio unveiled the first trailer of the anime Chainsaw Man, which introduced the basic characters of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s work to those who haven’t read the manga. Makima is also there, the red-haired woman at the helm of one of the departments of a government agency who conquers Denji at first sight. The woman from the trailer was enigmatic and hypnotic, and these qualities were also borne out by the Russian cosplayer MK. The Makima Cosplay co of the Russian model is limited to showing us close-ups that mainly focus on the details of the hair and eyes, but also imitates the distant and indifferent gaze of the Chainsaw Man woman’s simple white shirt and black tie.
