The creator of Yu-Gi-Oh decided to end the scary Halloween night with an entirely new illustration of the Young black magician. The trading card game and anime we watched on Mediaset are inspired by the works of this mangaka.
It was originally conceived as a much darker story with an Egyptian spirit hidden within Millennium puzzle and with a series of deadly games very different from the card game we knew then thanks to the first anime series that came to us. Fortunately on the occasion Lucca Comics & Games 2021, Panini Comics has released the Yu-Gi-Oh! announced.
The change in the series began when the series creator Kazuki Takahashi began to introduce a card game among these deadly games that was so successful with fans that the series was completely influenced. is entirely based on this trading card game.
The design of each monster, spell, and trap card is also the work of Takahashi. Like the design of the Young black magician which the Mangaka wanted to put back in the spotlight on the occasion of the Halloween party with a new and fantastic illustration on Instagram.
The Yu-Gi-Oh anime and manga franchise has developed in a completely different direction than its origins. Even if it was started with such a dark concept, the series has changed in many ways since the original manga was released. Through multiple sequels, spin-offs, and more, the franchise has not only expanded and changed its character lists and core themes with each new season, but has also continually added new rules to the trading card game in both the manga and manga anime and regulating royal contests.
But the reason fans love the series over the years is because every new addition to the franchise has been introduced a new series of card designs. This is how it works for generations of Pokémon video games. The Young Dark Magician remains a fan favorite, though it has added more and more to the series over the years other types of different “wizards”. On the other hand, there’s a reason the Young Dark Magician is back for this special occasion.
