On the official page for the animated adaptation of light novels written by Carlo Zen and illustrated by Shinobu Shinotsuki, Youjo Senki (The saga of Tanya the Evil one) it was announced that there will be a special broadcast on the Japanese platform on June 19th ABEMAwith voice actors Aoi Yuuki (Tanya from Degurechaff) Yes Saori hayami (Viktoriya Ivanovna Serebryakov). Carlo Zen, for his part, began publishing the light novels with illustrations by Shinobu Shinotsuki through the publisher in October 2013 Kadokawa. The publisher published the twelfth volume in February 2020 in Japan.
In addition to a manga adaptation by the hand of Chika toujou, the literary franchise inspired a twelve-part anime adaptation produced by the studios NUT, Headed by Yutaka uemura and scripts written by Kenta Ihara, released January 2017. An animated film that was a direct sequel to the anime premiered in February 2019.
Youjo Senki synopsis
Tanya Degurechaff is a young soldier who is notorious for her predatory cruelty and uncanny tactical talent, which has earned her the nickname “Demoness of the Rhine”.
