The Japanese streaming platform ABEMA announced that a selection of the following four anime titles will be broadcast for free this coming September 6th, to celebrate “Sisters’ Day”:
Yosuga no Sora is an adult visual novel developed by Cuffs and released for operating systems Windows in December 2008. A sequel entitled Haruka no Sora was released in October 2009 and included new and expanded scenarios for various characters from the original episode.
The visual novel inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by the studios. feeling, Headed by Takeo Takahashi and scripts from Naruhisa Arakawa, published October 2010.
Yosuga no Sora Synopsis
Tragically orphaned in a car accident, the Kasugano twins travel by train to their grandparents’ rural residence in hopes of rebuilding the fragments of a ruined life. Two lonely souls who are so physically similar, but spiritually different, without being aware of the challenges that the coming days will bring.
Unsure of the future, Haruka Kasugano clings to memories of the past hoping to find the strength she needs to protect her sick sister. As the story unfolds, four subplots will unfold together, each with a girl playing the lead role: rich but friendly, polite but sad, depressed but hopeful and petite but fierce.
