Chris Claremont is an English cartoonist Author of numerous mutant storylines that are considered essential (In fact, most of the must-read sensational stories about the X-Men that we’ve picked are his). Claremont’s 17-year run defined the X-Men as we know them todaythanks to stories like the Dark Phoenix Saga, Days of Future Past and countless others.
There was no shortage of tweets Credit for Gunn’s words from Marvel fandom. Some users have begun to fantasize about a hypothetical involvement of Gunn in directing the X-Men reboot being developed at Marvel Studios. When asked by a user who was wondering what the “mainstream” character Gunn would most like to adapt, the director replied, “I wouldn’t pick any of them and I already have them. I’m much more drawn to telling the stories of less popular characters“.
A great article on how Wolverine saved the X-Men. But to be honest, if it came down to one person to save the X-Men, it was writer Chris Claremont who changed the comic book landscape in the 1970s. https://t.co/ZTuUe2dKag
