There's been a lot of talk lately Bleach: Thousand Years of Blood War. After all, this is the final phase of one of the most important manga of the new millennium, a phase that has not yet been translated into anime and whose last episodes aired ten years ago. There is therefore a great desire for Bleach, a desire that can also be seen among the staff.

The director and producer are excited for the Bleach anime, which will be released in October, but they are certainly not alone. Also, during an interview with Viz Media, voice actor Noriaki Sugiyama confirmed that would be the case returned to voice Uryu Ishida in Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War. In addition, he also opened up some thoughts about the character.

In his opinion, Uryu will have a rather unique role during the Thousand Years' War, but Sugiyama was more drawn to the fact that while Uryu is serious, there are still times when he manages to be lighter and smile bring forth. "He's a very serious guy, but also with a good heart. But there are those moments when...how could I put it? He trades these digs with Ichigo and the other characters. and I think so Uryu is one of the characters contributing to this comedy. However, many scenes from the Thousand Years' War will be extremely serious. Aside from Bleach's hilarious scenes, I hope that I and the other cast members can express those funny aspects as we bring our characters to life.

Tite Kubo also has his own expectations for the upcoming anime.
