Kaido and Whitebeard were two Emperors of the Seas, both former members of the Pirates of Rocks crew in One Piece. The former was defeated by Luffy in the final chapters of Eiichiro Oda’s manga, while the latter was killed by Blackbeard’s pirates during the Marineford War. So let’s try to understand Who is stronger between Kaido and Whitebeard?.
Let’s get started Kaido: He is the captain of the Pirates of the Hundred Beasts, and in the past he was part of the Pirates of the Rocks. He then forcibly ousted the shogun Oden from the leadership of the country of Wano, in which he established a veritable dictatorship together with the new, evil shogun Orochi. Kaido has eaten the devil fruit called Woh Woh Blue Dragon model, of the mythological Zoo Zoo type, which allows him to transform into a fire-breathing oriental dragon, with the ability to control gusts of wind and create clouds of fire that allow him to fly. He is one of the few people in the world of One Piece capable of using all three types of Ambition: Armor Ambition, which was used to defeat Luffy in their first battle, Conqueror King Ambition, which was defeated by him being used, and a few others, to augment his attacks, and Ambition of Perception, which has evolved to the point of allowing him to predict the immediate future. Kaido’s weapon of choice is the spiked mace Hassaikaiwhich he knows how to use.
Edward Newgate, also known as white beard, Kaido’s companion in the Pirates of Rocks days and later captain of the Whitebeard Pirates, was long considered the world’s strongest man until his death. Whitebeard ate the devil fruit Gura Gura, believed to be the most powerful of the Paramisha type, which gave him the ability to create shock waves that cause earthquakes and tsunamis. In the words of the former Grand Admiral of the Navy Sengoku, the gura gura fruit would have had the ability to even destroy the entire world. Whitebeard is also capable of using all three types of Ambition in the same manner as Kaido. He brandished his in combat Murakumogiria saijo or wazamono quality naginata that she used in conjunction with her devil fruit to maximize the power of her punches.
Before the Marineford War, Kaido tried to attack Whitebeard to prevent his landing at Marineford but was blocked by him shafts. A clash between the two emperors of the sea was therefore very close without actually breaking out. Therefore, we can only theorize which of the two is the stronger. Given their history and strength, a fight between Kaido and Whitebeard would be won by the latter, also given the pirate’s age of majority and experience. Maybe Edward Newgate’s legendary aura fuels that verdict, but we’re still talking about two great emperors of the sea who possess incredible, but really very similar strength.
We leave you to the story of Luffy’s transformations and the official titles of the next episodes of One Piece.
