After Tokyo Ghoul ended, Sui Ishida took a fairly long hiatus from the manga while temporarily returning with some Twitter sketches and short comic book koala rap miniseries. But what the fans expected most was Choujin X, the new manga announced several months ago that unexpectedly appeared on MangaPlus in May.

A month and a half ago, on May 10, 2021, on MangaPlus The first chapter of Choujin X has arrived, introducing us to the protagonists of this new story of Sui Ishida as well as the powers and the main setting. However, despite the passage of time, Choujin X has not seen Chapter 2. The mangaka had already said that it would have had longer production times for this series in order not to tire too much, but the fans are still excited to know when Choujin X Chapter 2 comes out.

The mangaka is at work and on Twitter it announced to fans that the Work on Choujin X 2 is almost complete. The mangaka’s first tweet dates back to June 9, where it stated it was now in the final stages of production of the chapter, while a new fan-art with co-star Azuma appears to have much more specific references to the release date.

In the second tweet available below, which was just published today, the date 6/21/27 stands out on one side, which could refer to June 27, 2021. Obviously, the author hasn’t officially announced a release date that hasn’t even appeared on MangaPlus. It only remains to wait a week to find out whether or not Sui Ishida has misled her followers when Choujin X is actually released by the end of June.
