Anime Expo 2022 brought a lot of news for many titles and Bleach was not exempt from all of this. The Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War trailer brought Ichigo and allies to the screen, but also the new enemies that threaten the peaceful state of Soul Society and the entire Pyramid of Souls that Tite Kubo built years ago.

The trailer has focused on Ichigo and all the other characters that will appear in the very first phase of the anime, but of course there is much more to come. The latest Bleach saga is actually very long and there will be sensational returns and even some flashbacks. Speaking of which, the production is revealing which story arc they’re currently working on.

Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War addresses the Everything But the Rain arc., which is taken from the title of Volume 60 of the manga and focuses on a very special flashback involving Ichigo’s parents. About eight volumes of this last arc were therefore adapted, with about 14 remaining. It will therefore be a very long work that will also contain some news, since Tite Kubo has already indicated that there will be unedited moments that he has not been able to include in his manga during publication.
