Manga very often inspire anime, but the latter have also been referring to light novels for some time. These multi-volume novels are especially popular recently in the isekai genre, but sometimes there are niche products that are very different from the usual ones. Welcome to the NHK Is one of them.

The light novel, which has been completed for a number of years, will receive new life. The "literary" rock band The Elites revealed on their social networks that Tatsuhiko Takimoto, creator of the novel "Welcome to the NHK" (NHK ni Youkoso!) Light, wrote a continuation of the story. The elites posted a video - which you can see on the news above - commemorating the completion of the author's work that has been going on in the past few days. The The new work is entitled Shin NHK ni Youkosowhich translates as New Welcome to the NHK.

The easy novel will be available along with the release of Elites Vol. 3, which will take place on May 16th at the 32nd edition of the Literature Flea Market Tokyo. Inside will also include an interview with Takimoto.

The story is famous not only for the light novel, but also for the animated adaptation that once aired on Rai 4 and is now also available on Amazon Prime Video.
