The news had been in the air for some time. The first season of Vinland Saga was a success with the Story of Thorfinn and Askeladd which developed between wars and attempts at peace in the world of the Vikings. The anime could therefore not end with the final episode of the first season, which left many doors open.

Only the announcement planned for July 26th in Afternoon magazine and then the announcement of a live stream dedicated to the Vinland Saga to celebrate the two years of life had the anime audience sit up and take notice. But now the confirmation comes: Vinland Saga is getting a second season, announced with a promotional video that you can find above.

After he was a mercenary warrior, Thorfinn will have to face new challenges and we visit him in a completely different version than we were used to. There first poster of Vinland Saga season 2 Available below shows us the exhausted and debilitated blond boy, with a different look in his eyes as his hand is stretched towards the blade that partially covers the title. Will he take back his old daggers or will he leave them?

The second season is once again taken care of by the director Shuhei Yabuta, while Takahiko Abiru is responsible for character design. Ready for that return to the cold northern seas?
