With a view to publishing Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the new chapter in the famous video game series on November 10th, Ubisoft has signed a contract with the author of Vinland Saga for creating a crossover comic with Eivor and Thorfinn.

Below you can take a look at the teaser published by Ubisoft Japan, which by the way is already there distributed the first part of the short story for free on its official website. The chapter sees a young Thorfinn who, at Askeladd’s request, goes in search of a mysterious man. After switching off the boy is rescued by Björn and Askeladd themselves, while the hooded figure, which turns out to be Eivor, watches him from a distance.

Makoto Yukimura’s style is unmistakable as always and fans will surely be delighted to see the protagonist of the next Assassin’s Creed title drawn from one of the most popular mangaka in recent years. The short story should also consist of a second chapter, which is expected to see the light of day just before the game starts.

We remind you that Vinland Saga, Yukimura’s masterpiece, is nearing its climax and is expected to be completed by 2025. A second season of the anime is in production.
